  • RED DOT DISCOUNT PROGRAM

      The Red Dot Discount program was created to help students become more aware of the many businesses that support UL Lafayette and its students, by offering discounts and/or special offers. It was also created to alleviate the financial burden “coupon companies” place on a business when they want their name included in the book.

     

    The Red Dot Discount Program is a business partnership between community businesses and the UL-Lafayette Student Government Association.  The partnered businesses give UL-Lafayette Students and Faculty a discount for products or services.  In turn, the UL-Lafayette Student Government promotes and advertises for the company.  It's a win-win situation for all parties involved.

     

    To receive a discount, the student must show you his/hercurrent UL at Lafayette identification card. Without their current I.D. card, students WILL NOT receive the discount specified in the contract.

    OTHER LEGAL SERVICES

  • Some other services include:

     

    CUSP-A newly joint effort between UL Lafayette Police and Lafayette City Police.  The two forces came together with the main objective to provide further safety for students off campus in areas that are frequently occupied.  One officer from each agency will partner to patrol areas including the McKinley Street Strip, downtown Lafayette and some apartment complexes.

     


    Night Shuttle System - Parking & Transit transoports students to their residence halls after dark from any location on campus.

     

    SGA Scholarships - Every spring semester, SGA offers over 40 scholarships to students based on extracurricular involvement and GPA.

     

    24-hour library use during finals week

     

    Address Grievances - Students can file complaints and/or concerns to any SGA representative.
